old games consoles, why are they hated?

ok, we are all on a forum for a game that started on n64, so why is the n64 hated now?
well people in my school ask me what game systems i have and i say "wii, ps2, playstation, n64,ds and pc" and they say "wtf do you want a nintendo 64 for?"
"i say because i love it", and they ask "why?, it's [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep] coz it's old like innit"
so i reckon can we call new systems [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep] on the basis that one day it will be old?, i mean i have just bought another "sega master system II" it's the first games console i ever had and i loved it, so dose it really matter that it's old? it was old when i got it in 1998, "the master system 1" was released about 1991
that is number one i had the "master system II"
with sonic the hedgehog built in
tbh i'm not sure what differences there were between the two they both played the same games except the "master system II" had a game built in, sonic the hedgehog
i loved it, and i still love the n64 so because it's old dose it really make it crap?
i reckon one day all those gad damn cretins who call our beloved n64 crap, will be practically crying saying the 360 is not crap when a new shiny console comes out in about 5 years time

The only factor on which makes a games console crap is: Games. If a console has no good games it has no way to show off it's potentional, if it has any. Most people love their console due to a certain game or games, other than people buying a console purely for the brand name.
I think if a console doesn't have good games, it's not a good console. Who wants the best graphics or fastest console if it has no good games to play on it?
Old consoles should be loved, people grew up with these consoles, they are our childhood, the memories of gaming, without these consoles would we all play games now? Without the older consoles NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Mega Drive just to name a few would the companies that supplied these consoles with games exsist?
