I've been playing less Battle Network recently, and instead playing more Megaman X. I know my phone can emulate 2D PSX games, and certainly can emulate them much faster than N64 games, so I'm ready for X4, X5 and X6. I just beat X1 and goddamn I hated the last boss, but overall, fun game. X2 seems like it's going to be a bit harder.

Of all things that happen in the hallways, what I hate most is seeing friends and couples. It's not that I have anything against you having friends, having a date, or whatever else. I'm perhaps a bit jealous. This may sound ridiculous, but it needs to be said - people are so judgmental, I'm basically forced to create personalities in my mind just so I have the feeling that somebody in my area actually cares.

No, I do not count them as "imaginary friends." They are original characters, and they weren't originally written for the purpose of making up for a lack of a circle of friends. They were originally made for me to vent to, and when I felt the need, to become. Not in appearance, no (though I would love to look like them), but in personality. When I feel the need to, I may imagine myself as one of my tougher, more confident characters. I try to behave similar to them. When the going gets tough, I try to calm myself down, and tune my mind to one of my more laid back characters.

Each one has something about them that I admire - Rio is a major optimist, Crimson has confidence, etc. Whenever I feel the need to just be somebody different (we all know the feeling of just not being good enough), I basically tune my mind to that character. Imagine what they would do differently, think like them, be like them. I usually find that it helps me, unless the task at hand is far too intimidating, at which point I just cannot make the character come out. However, it usually works, and I find the system highly beneficial.

Of course, due to the fact that people just are not good, I admit to being desperate enough to imagine them by my side, listening to my comments (and making their own comments (in my head, obviously)). I never allow what I do to be clear - others would think that I'm a madman, a delusional freak, the victim of hallucinations. The more people push me away, the more people do not invite me to their circles, the more people who allow me into their circles do not appear, the more trapped in my mind I get. The result? None of my true best friends exist. They are all parts of my mind that I like to consider as others, because my nature does not allow me, myself to be quite like them.

It's just that I've been pushed away from people I admire too often. I've been forced into the loner position through the social system, which appears to pick people's roles at random. One of the things I want most is a group of friends who considers me a major character in the story of their school life, cares about my thoughts and opinions, sticks by my side in the toughest situations, and will listen to whatever I say without labeling me as insane, topping all of this off with loyalty - the promise that, no matter how tough times may be, no matter how upset I am at the moment, they will never turn around and suddenly hate me.

Unfortunately, that has never happened to me before. Really, the story of my social life is just a series of back stabs. Either it's me leaving them for whatever reason (the most memorable being in third grade, my best friend started showing signs of a crush (this has only happened twice before, this was the first. Neither time could be counted as having anything else but a disastrous ending), so I started to split away from her. She didn't try getting me back when I was gone, but she did hold on pretty tight as I left), or them throwing me away because they were offended by something I said (but NEVER, EVER telling me what it was), and then the few times where they just suddenly started hating me, and never stopped.

Because of just how terrible people are, I'm being forced to retreat into my own mind. Nobody ever starts conversation with me, so often my characters will instead, causing an exchange of words and ideas to happen in my head. It's really the most comfort I can get, since nobody I know in real life seems to care.

I guess my point is that I may or may not be going nuts because nobody I have seen in real life wants to be my friend, and that just sucks.

I love you all.

Yeah I've recently started to remember this old cartoon movie from my childhood. I think it wasn't that popular but not obscure because GMG knows what I'm talking about but like me can't remember the title. It's not the American Tail, but some other movie.
here's a small bit that I do remember.

Quote:

VenomJack: basically it was this cat that unlike most of the cats from the movie is friends with mice, and is chased by a group of three other cats because of it
VenomJack: I believe there was also a third party character that was either a wolf or a dog that seemed neutral
VenomJack: the main character had a group of mice with him as well and that's mostly what I remember

if you do know what I'm talking about go ahead and post the title of the movie or better yet a clip to see if it can't jog my memory abit more. thanks for the help in advance

The console had a neat screen in your hands idea but too many devs think it's required and go to other consoles for development. A lot of people blame its failure on the fact that it launched first in the generation. Nowadays nobody ports to it sans a few, and the ones that do test the water on other systems that the same audience has. The fans say that it's the best system the Japanese dev has ever released, but nobody believes them until they try it just because the sales numbers are low. While few in number, the first party launch titles were amazing enough to stay at the top of the sales charts, which might also have to do with the relative lack of software for the system. The social aspects look neat, but I doubt that should they actually release then they wouldn't catch on outside of Japan; the ones that HAVE come out show that trend. There's some really overlooked games on it, but quality doesn't assure sales all the time.

And that's all I have to say on the subject of the Dreamcast. Wait, this was supposed to be about the Wii U?

Venomjack Inspects Mickey Mouse in Croissant de Triomphe

Image: http://lilasouldiary.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/mickey-mouse-croissant-de-triomphe.jpg
Well Disney has recently released the first of many...

Well Disney has recently released the first of many web shorts starring Mickey Mouse and I have to say I was very much impressed with this. the first thing I have to say about the short is the new style it introduces.

As you can see it's a short of spin on the Classic rubber hose style which I do rather enjoy. The background for everything feels like it was just taken from a wonderful piece of art work. the background work was really the first thing to surprise about this webshort.

The next thing I'm going to talk about is the story. When I first started watching it I thought I was watching a french dub version, but that isn't the case. anyways the fact that the entire video is in french isn't really a problem, take these words into understanding.

Quote:

*Why* would they have it in English when it's made in such a way that you can clearly understand what's going on, like the silent cartoons of old? They even used the *English* speaking voice actors: that's unquestionably Tress MacNeille as Daisy, as well as the rest of the standard US-based cast.

Personally I couldn't put it better myself. the plot is very much self explanatory.

I only have one complaint, and it's not with the short it's self. I wish that wouldn't just limit these shorts to just the internet, these would make great for those inbetweeners on disney channel like the Short classic toons, or the Re-Micks(Think of a fan music videos when you think of Re-Micks) or Better yet have a collection of these shorts as a show like in early 2000's with the House of Mouse.

Anyway I have to say that this short is a breath of fresh air to see an actual short of the Mouse in years, and has gotten me excited to see the other shorts. I'm personally crossing my fingers that they decide to put Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, one of Walt's oldest cartoon stars, get to appear in these future shorts, but that's just me. I highly suggest you watch this short if you haven't seen it already

GMG (my boyfriend) told me to do this because im depressed and he says it might help me feel better. So basically he says i should say everything here that i would tell him right now. Which I think is probably a good idea. He knows all about things like that. i think. Basically the biggest part of WHY im depressed is that GMG lives several thousand miles away from me and we've never seen each other in person. Maybe it was naive to start a long distance relationship when ive never had any other relationships, but it doesnt matter. I'm completely in love with him and we're about three months in and writing that down it seems naive and stupid but it doesnt feel that way. it hurts that i cant be with him. thats all i know. plus i dont have any friends that live near me, and only a few online at that. I hardly get any physical contact with anybody, and im a really huggy person so that takes a toll on me. Ugh i feel stupid. This was GMG's idea if its dumb blame him. anyways school is painful too. ive got huge projects coming up that all the teachers are talking about and im deathly afraid that im gonna fail. doesnt help that i have anxiety problems on top of the depression. I can handle failing i think, my parents wouldnt kill me unless i was outright not trying. the main problem is being lonely. ive got no friends and due to a "special issue" i have i doubt i will be able to make any real trustworthy friends anytime in the near future. all i have keeping me from hurting myself right now is gmg. I promised him i wouldnt. life hurts, and i wish it didnt.

So where did I even leave you all last blog? Right, I was explaining that I didn't get into my target school, okay, so that's done. What else, I still don't have my old avatar and signature back, damn you Toiletstorm! I don't even know why I write these blogs, the only person who reads them, AA, is stalking my facebook daily and already knows everything. Well, whatever, let'sa go.

So I'm currently going to that one school I was afraid would be complete doofus. It's actually pretty nice, I can count to one bad teacher (though most of my classmates would say like four, they're simply not that bright and choose to blame it on the teacher), which is not too bad considering that I was prepared for all of them to be bad. Another thing that I thought of as a 'perk' to going to a "bad" school was that it'd be easier grades. I have no idea if they are easier, but if they are, they would be DAMN hard on a "good" school, because I'm a baller G and I can't even get straight A's (in some subjects). But who cares about school right, it's what all of my blogs have been about since I became obsessed with proving to everyone I know that I'm a genius.

Remember how I told you that I at some point got a girlfriend? We were actually together for 7 months. It ended with a brutal struggle and only one of us came out alive. Actually it ended because I wanted it to, which left me with the difficult task of explaining to her why, again, and again, and again. She said she wanted to try again and I said no. Then she asked me why I broke up in the first place and when I explained it, she said she "didn't believe me". I thought that was outrageous and long story short, she hates me now. But, that was like 6 months ago so who knows, maybe she's over it.

Are these paragraphs small? Screw my other blogs I'm apparently into small paragraphs now.

Wait I know more to say. Three more things actually. First of which, I've started HITTING THE GYM! Ya feel me? I actually quit going like a real f4gg0t, but I've realized the error of my ways and started going 5 days/week. Although I'm fairly sure that I drink so much soda that I actually nullify the effect of the gym, I'm hoping to get some sweet gains anyway (gained muscle weight).

I'm also a smoker now, bring the hatred. But it's like Obama always says you know, smoking is good for the lungs.

Also, the last thing; I'm bisexual. Came out of the closet a few months back. So if you're a cute boy or girl send me cute pics <3333.

So I'm actually thinking about returning to this website, like "returning" as in posting every once in a while. Y'all need to make better threads though, because all I see is dumb threads where no discussion is even possible. And of course, I can't make the threads myself, that would be haram.

I feel like, if this was like any other of my blogs it would be very long. I wonder why that is.

So I'm glad to have posted this, I've been feeling guilty about just leaving and this blog is like a cleansing of the soul that I don't have.

Looking forward to talking to you all again.

I see that RWC now has a chatroom, which, in my honest opinion, was an excellent thing to do. Or, at least, it has a new one which people seem to notice. My only real problem with it is the fact that it reflects our inactivity - every time I go in there, nobody else is present. Sometimes I get lucky and get to see old logs but, besides that, nobody is ever present - I have seen other forums with fairly small communities (at least, in comparison to many, many sites out there) with more active chatrooms. Now either I'm the king of the awkward silence here at RWC, I'm always on at the wrong time, or... I don't even know. It's just a bit upsetting that such a nice feature would go to waste, y'know what I mean? Perhaps the silence is, like, a sign that we need to boost our activity or something like that. However, I would love to see it become more active.

Not sure if I was rambling or staying on topic, but oh well, the point is we should be in the chat more often. So... yeah. Hopefully, this will get noticed by somebody!

Comment your responses. Seriously. I'd love to post updates, previews, and such (or something like that) here, but not if nobody here can fully enjoy them.

ADOITAS/ADD WHY Also, how SD simultaneously improved and ruined my life FOREVEEEEEEER

Yes, I read the ADOITAS comment. That was funny.

I'm putting the adventure on hold. Too much is going on over here!

Just curious, who here reads Slightly Damned? It's this webcomic about comedy, drama, demons, angels, being nice, and all that good stuff. It's worth checking out, trust me. And it's highly relevant to why I'm delaying the adventure and far too much more.

ADOITAS/ADD/wwhatevver kicked in during my Geometry exam, so I forgot I was taking an exam and drew Buwaro (a main character in SD) on my paper instead.

I'm emotionally confuzzled right now because I'm the only person here who has been directly insulted by their hero, but she said she's willing to just live on. She also accepted my apology for the rude remark that triggered her, causing her to trigger me, causing me to trigger her, causing us to trigger everybody in the Beetown IRC. It was borderline cartoonish.

Also, I'm working on an animation. Probably going to be pretty screwed, primarily due to my difficulty drawing Kieri (who appears in said animation).

The author of SD actually remembered that I'm the guy making the animation! :D

If you guys want, I'll upload little previews/teasers/whatever of said animation to this blog (also putting them on my personal one). Just gotta show me some love in the comments! I'm a far better artist than you think I am, trust me. I'm confident that I can make something even better than my avatar (which I made).

I WASN'T ON MY MEDICATION WHEN I WROTE ANY OF THIS SO I'M AMAZED I MANAGED TO FINISH IT OH WAIT I WAS WORKING ON A DRAWING DARNIT GOTTA GET BACK TO THAT HAVEANICEDAY SHOW LOVE IN THE COMMENTS SD IS A GOOD WEBCOMIC KTHNXBUYALLOURPLAYSETSANDTOYS!

1. Get distracted. ADD POWERS, ACTIVATE!
2. Probably end up crying over nothing. I tend to do that.
3. Forum adventure starring two characters drawn from a template I made, but never uploaded, one human and the other's species is to be kept secret until later; Kraft, highly relevant; might be a loser and take requests from people who want to be in; and hell with it, Ifind George Lopez Dark Knight too funny to just abandon.

I bet I'm the only one even remotely hyped up about this.

Oh, and if the adventure doesn't start tomorrow, it will be the day after. And I will add some animated images.

In fact, that's a *perfect* place to start. English. Or rather, the obscure deformity that it's been driven into over the generations. We've been...

In fact, that's a *perfect* place to start. English. Or rather, the obscure deformity that it's been driven into over the generations. We've been saying things are bigger than they are so often to express their magnitude that any other measurement of anything is completely meaningless. If we say our rants are on everything, then it's just an average rant on about five things. If we say it's about quite a bit, because it's not everything it probably means two or three. Because of this, there's absolutely no way of expressing an unfathomable amount of something, even when using the word "literally", which has also been turned into an amplifying adjective. We can't try to break free of this, or else we risk breaking the mold of society.

Which brings me to my next point. McDonald's, Facebook, and everything they represent. We don't use them because we like them. Our friends don't use them because they like them. We just pretend to like them because our friends pretend to like them, and we want to be doing the same thing even if there's a superior alternative. It's because of this that our popular culture is dominated not by high quality products but those with high budgets, leading to high amounts of advertising and hype, leading to people buying into it just to stay with the crowd. There's another type that dominates the market, too, and that's the vulgar "mature" content that has such an ironic title it goes beyond hilarious and back to unfunny.

Think of five people you know that watch Family Guy. Chances are, at least three are teenagers. Why do they watch it? Because it's "mature" and quality shows like MLP and Fairy Tail are pushed aside. If it's so mature, then why are there more teens watching it than adults? Is it really a sign of maturity to make a sex joke every five minutes, or offend one race or another on a daily basis?

Racism, sexism, and pretty much any other "ism" out there are completely ridiculous. All humans were created equal, and the tone of one's skin or type of one's genitals should not determine what sort of person they are, or what opportunities they should receive. We push women into sexualized and submissive roles, Africans into athletic ones, and Asians into intelligent ones. We say that it's justified because they actually are, and while they can be, it's only because we force them into such positions. If there weren't stereotypes about athletic Africans, for example, then they wouldn't feel obliged to be more athletic than Europeans, but the stereotypes cause the adaptation, and therefore become self-reinforcing.

Speaking of self-reinforcing, there's the whole class thingamajiger. I'm no communist, but the current system of classes is completely out of whack. You can inherit the family fortune and not work a day in your life, or be born into poverty and have to work minimum wage to pay the rent. We choose not to help the poor because we believe that they have their chances but don't take them, giving them no chance at success and letting us see them be unsuccessful, reinforcing the idea of them doing nothing to help themselves. Instead, we feel entitled to the money we barely earned in terms of effort versus pay and look down upon those who were born into lower class families. Our very concept of love has been perverted.

This next paragraph only applies to Christians. If you're not, you're in the blue. The three big things that Christians believe in are anything the Jewish people used to, Jesus, and the fact that we should love all humans. Now, if we love them, then why are we hating on them so often? We criticize politicians, go to war against entire nations, and get into arguments and flame wars with eachother so often that we can't even count how many times we've done so. Would you do the same to your spouse? You know what, in this day and age, you might as well, so that more or less invalidates that part of the argument and brings up a whole other.

One of the only things more messed up today than our love for humanity is our love for our husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends. I personally disagree with the wording behind the term "women are viewed as objects", but I do agree with the overall idea. What society's done is make men view them as people with their bodies as objects, as opposed to them overall being an object, which the term implies. Sex itself has degraded from two people feeling that their relationship is intimate enough to share anything to a man "getting" something from a woman and a woman sacrificing her dignity to maintain what may be an otherwise unstable relationship. Our very idea of a relationship has become neutralized and repolarized into the other direction; it went from sex being a sign of a peak relationship to a relationship being a sign of peak sex. All we care about is instant gratification, and I'm sick of it.

That brings me to another, albeit significantly less serious, point. Modern gaming and its ceaseless "hand-holding". It's become almost impossible for a game to make it nowadays without a huge budget for graphics and advertising. It's too big for developers to pay for, so instead the publishers do. The pubs don't want their investment to be for nothing, so they have the devs do everything they can to make sure that the average buyer can reach the heights that a pro can. This is why difficulty's taken a nosedive, and why less games are going for true online ranking systems and instead providing a rank based on how often you play. Sure, if you're good, you'll climb the ranks faster, but everyone's able to hit the cap eventually. It cheapens the reward for people that can actually hold their own, and can't really be avoided without lowering sales and not paying off development costs.

The other thing that irks me about modern gaming is how it's become less about completing a challenge and more about continuing an experience. RPGs take more time fleshing out sidequests and conversations than the main quest line, shooters care more about mulitplayer than single player, and platformers have all but died out. Before, you could beat a game and it would be legitamitely rewarding. Now it's trivial, if there's even a true "end" at all.

Quite a few of you are going to call me out on a number of points, and there's no way in hell I'm going to change my mind about any of them. Likewise, you might read these and have disagreeing opinions, and no matter what I say, you're not going to change yours. Philosophies change through personal experience, not others saying opposing opinions. The very point of this rant is to vent steam, not to change any of your minds. Trying to do so is impossible, and that's something that most people just don't understand. A Democrat and Republican and go at it all day and they won't change eachothers' minds. We throw names at eachother simply for having fundamental differences that can't be controlled.

Then there's the names themselves. "Retard", "n*gger", and "bitch" are the three that I find particularly irksome; the first and second are offensive towards groups that simply can't control whether they fall into that group or not, and the first and third cheapen the meanings of the words. The first refers to a group that deserves the pity of the world, that made no conscious decision to be who they are. The very use of the word as an insult makes us instinctively look down upon them when they're in our presence, as opposed to opening our arms and caring for them. When you yourself are called one, you want to avoid being associated with the group, slowly growing your hatred for both them and those who called you such. The second creates the same effect, and generates the same racism that it spawns from. The last one is an objectification that instead of developing hate for women fosters an unwarranted feeling of dominance. There's a lot more than just these three, such as "gay", "ginger" and "***got".

Then there's self-righteous complainers, much like myself. We complain about absolutely everything in the world, but there's nothing we *can* do. What is there to do? It's human nature to respond to these situations as such, and even when we ourselves refuse to contribute to such cycles, there's twenty others to fill our space. If one person refuses to contribute to racism, racism won't die; one racist can generate three other racists in a single sentence. They can't be stopped, because these traditions have been completely hard-wired into their brains. Trying to make them sensitive is as impossible as it is for them to make you insensitive. Arguing only provokes more problems, making the very point of trying to purify them not only useless, but counterintuitive.

1. Post your collection, game status of your B-K games, etc.
2. Don't be mean. Don't be braggy like, "Liek em totely da biggist fan nd u all suk." Just post above ^ and don't start a war...Lol

3. I don't wanna hear, "I beat (insert B-K game here) 46 times 100%!) because, I mean what skill does it take to beat it several times? I mean, since you know how to beat it, why does it matter! Lol!
These wonderfully twisted pictures were drawn out by Hat boy of tumblr and I have to say he's done a fantastic job at making these pokemon fit the Tim Burton style. I love every design so far. He said that he'll be continuing the project and hopes to do every pokemon up to the Black and white generation. Be sure to check out his other stuff on here http://hatboy.tumblr.com/ I hope you guys enjoyed
