This site is operated by Rare Ware Central. It is our top priority to allow your Internet browsing to be satisfying and safe. This is why rules are important.

Rules shouldn't be needed but several people have issues following them. This is why sites like ours needs infractions and rules.

We feel that you should understand our terms and conditions of our site and these rules contains all the information and what we do about certain things.

1. We do not condone racial or sexual or intolerance, threats or violent attacks towards other members. If you do post hateful comments as previously mentioned you will be given an infraction if not banned!

2. Please refrain from using bad language anywhere on the site, beit in the forums, another members page or in a blog, do not swear, or try to get around bad word filters, it will get you no where and you will get an infraction, if you would continue to do so, it will lead to a ban. Our filters will replace swears with "*"'s. This does not mean you can use stars as a replacement for swears. The stars are concidered just as bad as swears.

3. We do not accept people trolling the site in attempt to aggravate other members and staff. Trolls will automatically be permanently banned to keep the site free from bad language, attempts to annoy others and such. One troll post will equal a permanent ban.

4. You cannot post illegal programs or content, such as torrents, ROMs or anything breaking copyright. Do not ask other members for anything illegal, it will only get you in trouble.

5. Do not spam, spamming clogs up the forums and doesn't help anyone. If you are advertising your site, fine but don't continuously post to try and get your point across, it'll only end in an infraction. Ban will come depending on what you've done. Spam is not just advertisements. Spam are useless posts that are not necessary.

6. Creating an alternative account is not allowed, if you create an alternative account, your current account and your alt. account will be banned. If anyone with the same IP i.e a sibling joins please make it obvious, otherwise we may ban both accounts.

7. Trying to hack people or the site are very serious matters, matters we do not take lightly. If you have been found to try and hack or break security then we will take action. Complete reports with your IP will be sent up to our reporting services.

8. If a member has been banned or given an infraction you do not need to know, do not ask the member who was given a ban or infraction or a member of staff. They did something wrong and that's all you should need to know. If you ask, even in a private message, we will have to give you an infraction for getting involved in something of which is none of your business.

9. Bumpity bump! Yeah posting in a really, really old thread, please look at the date that it was created. This isn't ban-worthy, but it's pretty annoying. Do not bump a thread that is older than thirty days. Re-create it. If you do this it will lead to an infraction, if you're new and do not have a complete understanding with rules, a warning will be sent out.

10. Posting inappropriate content such as "pornography" or anything from "encyclopedia dramatica" also linking to pages of pornography and other images or content along those lines is against the rules. Permanent ban will be given. It is not only pornography we do not tolerate, anything that could make anybody offended or feel bad as absolutely not tolerated.

11. Giving out your password to other members, including staff, should not be done under any circumstances. Giving out your password, if someone says they can do something or get you something if you give them your password then report them to a member of staff and do NOT give them your password. NOTE: Only give away password if you need help and only to a Admin!

12. Using Caps lock and leet speak. Please do not use Caps locks as it is considered shouting and frustrates other people and do not use leet speak or chat speak, such as "l337", "LMAO" or "0wn3d" these also can be annoying and could make people ignore you.

13. Images must contain content which isn't offensive to anybody. Signature limits must remain on 500 in width and 150 in height or less. Example can be found here.

14. As mentioned in rule number one. Sexual intolerance is not okay. Several members do not seem to understand rule number one. We do not allow any intolerance about any type of sexuality or sexual preference. Your sexuality or sexual preference should not be discussed to begin with.

15. Also mentioned in rule number five. Spam is not okay. People seem to believe that Off-Topic discussion and Fun-Land forums are places to spam, but this is completely wrong. The Off-Topic Discussion forum is for discussing things outside Rare, such as something you saw on the news or an internet game you found. Dun-Land is for sharing simple forum games or anything to your liking. Such as "Ban the user above you" or "Rate the above user". Spam is not tolerated.
