How did you first play BK?

I was 4 years old, in my local video vault. I didn't want to rent it but for some reason I rented it anyway. I brought BK home, and didn't really expect it to be good. I shoved it in my N64 like any kid would, turned on the system, laughed at the dragonfly, and opened a save.

As I watched the opening cut scene in awe, I thought to myself; this might actually pretty cool.

Five days later:
I hadn't put the game down for anything but to use the bathroom or take a shower. My eyes were glued to the screen and I just couldn't stop until I beat it. It was the best adventure I have ever played in my young life.

So what's your stories? I'd really like to hear them.

My sister's friend gave away her N64 and we got a bunch of games from her. Among them was BK. I loved it (obviously).

Rented it from the Blockbuster that was only a mile or so away from my house because of the box art. It was 1999 or so.
