If you were a bigger Sonic fan, you'd have caught a bunch of jokes, such as "long time no see" being in pretty much every game since SA1.

I just watched this yesterday, I laughed a bit.

Also, yeah, the humor is pretty funny if you played a good amount of sonic games.
