Dinosaur Planet and StarFox Adventures

Hello to all fans of Rare games.

I made some discoveries that I think interesting in StarFox Adventures.

I would like support from fans of Diddy Kong Racing 64, and also if it exists, Dinosaur Planet N64.

I let you read my posts on the following website.

http://64dd.net/modules/newbb/viewto...id=856&forum=4

p.s.: Let me know your comments if they can advance the understanding of Dinosaur Planet.

Welcome to the site, I don't know a great deal about gamecube games. The files that you have posted on that site, do any of them have the models inside them. N64 use Fast 3D as well as F3dex and F3Dex2 well there at least the ones i know of.

Again not really sure what those files are as it just seems like a list of content if you can provide more info on it that would be helpful.

Some Gamecube games do have 64 stuff in them I think it was Animal Crossing that had a heap of left over 64 stuff in it.

If your have those files google jario64.ucode or feel free to ask.

Again the info you provide on what your trying to do the more we can help.

It would be interesting if you could pull the sabre model out, not sure if it was ever found, or the 64 version of krystal, It's possible that the models as well as a large amount of resources from dino planet are in SF:A due to how it was ported, would be really interesting to find those assets if thats what your looking for.

Hi all,

I post a file tonight I was talking about the presence of sprites Diddy Kong Racing 64, in the disc of Star Fox Adventures. As shown in the screenshot I made. There is also what looks like a planetary system. Unrelated to the racing game, I guess it could be the planets around the Dinosaur Planet.

If among you, there are good users of Tiles Molester. Can you reconstruct correctly, the sprites in the file, and show us the result.

I posted on other forums to increase the number of readers, some able to make good use.

I am pleased to see that Zoinkity has done an excellent job, this is the result.

This dump includes almost all of the non-interlaced textures. I skipped over a few 'frame' textures for smoke (~42) and water (~36). There's a stack of interlaced ones that are DKR stuff not included because, well, I don't feel like manually altering a few hundred textures and they very obviously have nothing to do with DP. Excuse any that are flipped by accident. Was guessing at flags.

Doesn't look like anything from DP was in there, but it is rather neat to see cameos from another Rare title.

I refer interested readers to the Unseen64 forum, or I posted some information about my discoveries.

I watched the video made by runehero124, and I noticed the presence of these planets, as Beta Objects, 0:17 to 0:20.

Today, I will make you listen to the voices of the twins Rocky and Rubble, if I understand is between Swapstone Hollow and Swapstone Circle.
I made these two pieces from a file, which contains the voices of every character of Dinosaur Planet N64. There is in this file, two types of conversations.
In part the N64 version, the characters are Sabre and Krystal, and other Fox and Tricky, as in Gamecube version.
The second piece ends with a burp, the voice of a guardian who requests scarabs.

I haven't found any site or forum, that would speak in detail of Dinosaur Planet for N64. There are some who do that compraison between the N64 version and GC version.

I would like your opinion on the influences that you would find in some pictures or videos available to us.

Looking at the character Rocky, I remembered a fantasy film, The Neverending Story, one of the characters is called Rock Biter.

I second that.
Also, would that not be some form of copyright infringement, seeing as how they are basically two giants made out of rock with a similar appearance?
