I would do the shape in Illustrator. Then import it into 3d max and then Extrude the object and fill its caps. Then convert to new Polygone Model and emboss the edges.
I wonder if that can be done in blender i'll look that up.
Do you do most of your modeling that way or do you use boxs or cylinders? Thanks though i'll try that out next time i want to make something small and quick.
