Yes, Steam is free. The games, on the other hand, do cost money, except for a select handful, which are also free.

TF2 is free to play. You have to pay for extra features though.

If anyone is interested in playing a RWC match of MvM, just send me an invite and if I'm not busy I'll join.

I think it'd be fun, and if we got enough people we could do a normal ctf_2fort match.

Now THAT'd be awesome, a bunch of RWC members on teams. It'd be even better because TF2 is a lot more fun to play when you're playing with friends.

It's also F2P, as you've seen, so if you don't have it go ahead and download it.
I have premium though, I bought a backpack expansion, which is $5 but it's one of the items that's the most worth it.

Also, anyone have the Connoisseur's Cap (chef hat for the pyro)? It's the hat I'm looking for as of now, because it's awesome. I'm also looking for the Hot Dogger (hot dog hat for the scout).

I don't have anything of really high value, but I'll try and make a deal that you think is worth it. (It's easier without spreadsheet values and just with real-time trading IMO, I mean, those things are just... I dunno... Unfair or something like that?)

I actually haven't played TF2 in... a while and as far as I can remember my backpack looks pretty darn sad. But yeah, I like Coey's idea of a bunch of us playing together.

Unless you've all already done it without me, which is cool too 'cos I probably wouldn't be of much help to you guys anyway ;;^^

We should all get together and play through Half-Life 2 with Synergy some time.

Or, hell, if you got a copy of Half-Life Goldsource, download Sven CoOp and we can do CoOp on that. There's a really freaky downloadable map for it called "Uni".
