Re-Buying an N64

You know, we all make mistakes in our life. Perhaps we dumped a girlfriend for the wrong reasons, maybe we took our car on a joyride, who knows. However, I can honestly say that one of the most regreted things I've ever done is sold my N64 and all of its games.

About a year ago, I sold my N64, along with 2 controllers and Mario 64, Banjo, Perfect Dark, and so many others. Right now, I can't even remember what I used the money to buy. At the time, it felt like a great decision because I hadn't played it since around 2008, and I'm sure there was something I wanted.

However, in retrospect, I made a big mistake. Not only did I give up some of my cherished childhood memories in selling the console and games which I had owned since I was a little 5 year old in 1997, I also lost a console which was just all-around great for playing games, even to this day.

So damn it, you know what? I'm going to go and buy myself a brand new N64, along with all the best games (as well as new batteries for them), and a brand-spanking new Hori pad to avoid hand cramps.

Brand new 64's are really expensive and very rare! If you were to get one do not open the box...

Otherwise grab one on ebay (even boxed with some games) and it won't set you back to much depending on where you live.

Oh yeah, no way am I getting a new one- I'm not rich by any means. However, I am seeing a few "Very Good" N64's listed on Amazon right now for about $25~30 so, I think I'll snag those up, along with some games.

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
Goemon's Great Adventure / Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 2
Blast Corps
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye 007

I could give you more suggestions if you want. I also suggest Superman 64, just for laughs. It's one of those games that is worth a playthrough. Why? Because it's the worst game ever made.
