I just got a Game Genie for my NES, and I entered some codes on Super Mario Bros.

Here are the ones I can remember:

PIGPOG - Your game doesn't even know. (AKA Your game has so many ridiculously funny errors.)
GKITOP - Attack of the toads! (Enemies are Toads.)

Things that are above with the wrong post:
1) A game Genie on the NES. This one is so absolutely wrong that the wording in the above line got screwed up. This is what happens to your cart reading pins after using it once. The next line demonstrates what happens after repeated use.

And then it stops working with carts only; it will only work when you have the GG inserted.
2) Inserting random codes. DO. NOT. DO. THIS. You will see why in 4.
3) Once random stuff happens like in PIGPOG, you should definitely turn your console off.
4) Random in-game codes are able to screw up your console; GG ones are just as dangerous. Don't believe me?

I already knew the Game Genie connector was larger and pushes the pins around. But I know a few tricks to get it to work again.

Uh, did you mean to say "Recently in wood shop school, the NES\Mule is cutting the cheese. Poor Ember...\Remember...\ You have died..."
I seem to have gotten "Recently, a nudist came out of your wood stove and has been cutting the cheese. Remember, you will die.
I feel very unsettled now, for not only is there a farting nudist that spawned from flames in my house, I am also going to die. O_o

Probably because the GG connector is bigger than the NES cart ones, and the connectors are to far apart to read the NES cart data, right?

Is the NES too limited to handle all of the stuff on screen? :???: I use the Duck Hunt cartridge and the most weird thing that happened was a glitched up DH starting up when I tried to break the ceiling in 1-2.

That video was obviously recorded in an emulator, and the video nor the comments mentioned it screwing up your NES\GBA, it only mentioned it crashing on the 3DS.

Sorry if I sounded angry. I'm not angry at all, I'm actually interested in why it's bad for your console.
