Glover N64 Beta (Download)

Hello,

Recently released a beta build of Glover on the N64 and thought I'd share it here as well. Will add it to the beta section later.

I've just tried to boot it in PJ64 and it does not work, does work in Nemu though. It has run in PJ64 before though so not sure if it's only me.

On the games' main menu, press up once and you'll be able to access a level select mode. Debug menu is accessed by using the second controller (I believe).

As far as I can tell, all the music in the game is different from retail.

Nice release TS. I noticed that the story intro is quite different as well, and some other minor things.

Very strange it doesn't boot up in PJ64, but only in Nemu.

Will play around more with this later tomorrow. The clock is like 1 o' clock in my timezone where i live, and are likely off to bed soon.
Edit: Recalculated the ROM checksum with one of the tools CoinCollector linked to(RTool), and now works in PJ64. Will investigate this proto to see if there's more differences, but i won't tell anymore for now(wanna keep it secret until TS gets the beta game up on the beta page.).

Works fine in pj64 if you re-crc the rom.

Although if you had mentioned this to me I would have done so and we could have released a working version.....

The dump is a bad as it doesn't boot on real hardware. Would it be possible to redump it please?

yep, doesn't work with real hardware. a redump version that works would be nice.

You just have to fix the checksum: this or this works.

Ooh, thanks for dumping the music. I find it crazy how this beta was made only 3 months before before the final release, yet every song changed in that time.
