Rumor: Rare working on FPS for Xbox 720

Ah, another PD 2 rumor has started as job listings point to "action-adventure or FPS genres" with a "stable first party developer" based in the UK Midlands.

I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how this turns out. I'm pretty sure that the first party developer that they speak of is in fact Rare. What other developers are in the UK (Ignorance Alert)?

As for the game itself, it would be easy to assume that the game is Perfect Dark, but then again, something else could be up this developer's sleeve. Perhaps another franchise altogether?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was them that made an FPS either. Didn't Fable have guns that you could use? Maybe they wanted to try a full-fledged shooter to see how it would work out?

Additionally, the past two Fables (not sure which or if either are out yet) are spin-offs; a third one wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah next gen should fix Rare even if this turns out to be another company, next gen should remove the kinect rare we all know and hate.
