Disappointing Games You've Played

We've all played games that we thought would be really good, but ended up disappointing us in the end. What games have you played that were like this?

The biggest disappointment of a game I've played so far is Deus Ex: Invisible War. It was legitimately fun for a while, there were plenty of routes to go about levels, plenty of ways to accomplish things, Stealth was really fun, and it didn't force me to kill anyone.

And then in the last hour of gameplay they added irritating enemies that sucked to fight and could only be killed, and removed extra paths.

And then in the last half hour they stop even trying to make a good game altogether. Extremely linear paths, enemies placed in positions where you can't sneak past them, it tosses basically every playstyle except for Combat to the wind.

I hate to go on and on about it, but this game left me reaaaaaalllly disappointed. Like, seriously, that last half hour just pissed me off a lot.

I know, it's just that I didn't expect the last level of the game to be so goddamn bad. It was literally the worst thing out of any video game I have ever played.

One of the most disappointing games I have ever played was The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. The last Spyro game I played was for the N64, so I assumed it would be pretty good. OH GOD WAS I WRONG, they gave the characters terrible voice actors, any free roaming aspects were completely destroyed, the list goes on. I found out that they were owned by Activision, and at that point understood why one of my childhood favorites was ruined. Good idea, bad execution, another game that was ruined by that company for money.

Naw, I haven't really played any games that I've found disappointing really, but the closest one was Rally Cruising USA. When I first heard about the game, I thought it would be amazing, but I personally didn't like it that much.

Don't get me started on that game, that's disappointing game #2, I was going to mention that one next. I agree, and I hated the almost complete linearity of it.

This. For example, Assassin's Creed II. Very boring imo. Goes to show I'm not your average gamer.

Definitely Sonic 06, it brought my expectations to the lowest point that I thought I'd never reached!
