Perfect Dark is a successful First Person Shooter (FPS) that was released on the N64 by Rare. The game is a sequel to Perfect Dark Zero.

Perfect Dark was ported to the Xbox 360 by 4J Studios with updated graphics played in beautiful 1080p HD and a frame rate of 60fps. Unlike the N64 version of the game, the port has 1-8 online Multiplayer, online Co-Op and online Counter-Op.

Set in the year 2023 you play the role of Special Agent Joanna Dark, a student at the Carrington Institute, Code named "Perfect Dark." Taking place during a war between two races of aliens, The Maians, a grey bulbous headed species and the Skedar who resemble reptiles who can take the form of humans, Joanna is their only hope to end the war! The game starts with Joanna receiving information about the dataDyne corporation, which turns out to be a conspiracy between dataDyne and the Skedar.

As you progress through, you'll play through over 10 fun and challenging missions. You also have the Option of the difficulties: Agent, Special Agent, Perfect Agent, and the Perfect Dark difficulty which can be unlocked after completing all missions on the Perfect Agent difficulty. New and exclusive additions to the port are 20 achievements worth 200G, and a series of "Crowns" that are a form of achievements without information on how to unlock them. To unlock Crowns, you need to look at the picture and read the description and try to find out what you have to do. The Crowns will unlock Themes, Gamer Pics, and Avatar Awards.

Perfect Dark Arcade is also one of the first XBLA games to have 20 achievements instead of the usual 12 achievements.
